With thousands of members and limited staff, processing annual dues is a challenge. Because of this, TRTA prefers dividing the dues across the year and having them deducted from members' TCRS deposits. Complete the appropriate section of the Membership Enrollment Form to activate this.

To pay dues annually, please make your check payable to TRTA and mail the total dues amount with the membership form by July 31 to Tennessee Retired Teachers’ Association, 801 Second Avenue North, Nashville, TN 37201-1099.   

Local, state, and national memberships are unified, meaning a member pays one total amount and is automatically enrolled in each association tier. However, Local RTA Annual Membership dues vary, as they are determined by the Local Associations according to need. Because of this, members across the state do not all pay the same total annual dues and should consider this when figuring their total payment.
