Meeting in each grand division of the state during October, local association leaders joined state leaders for a fun-filled day of training.
Ideas were generated in small groups for growing membership; The Price is Right was played to illustrate and emphasize the value of TRTA membership, and a rousing game of Bingo was played that focused on current legislative issues.
Led by Linda McCrary, Ex Officio NEA board member, attendees also took time to personally write notes to members encouraging them to vote in the November elections and support public education.
