On September 17, 2023, the Chester County RTA met at Snookum’s Restaurant in Henderson for a general
business meeting. Brandon Cooper, the EM Agency manager of Chester Co. was the guest speaker. Chester Co. RTA signed up two new members!-- Martha Lewis reporting.
April 9, 2024--C/TCRTA attended the WTRTA Annual Spring Meeting held in Jackson, hosted by Jackson-Madison County RTA. President Rose Anderson invited Dr. Nathan Lewis, Principal of JCM Early High College and Mrs. Stephanie Winfrey, Health Care Insurance Manager-BCBS as speakers. Legislative Chair Ted Williams shared updates. Area representatives offered greetings and gave community and educational briefs.
Installation of Officers was conducted by TRTA President William Murray for 2024-2026 as follows:
President, Dr. Charles Green; President-Elect, Daisy Cleaves; Secretary, Martha Fayne; Treasurer, Barbara Hunter. C/TCRTA is proud of its involvement in local, regional, and national RTAs.
March 2024-- The C/TCRTA March meeting allowed Presenter Mrs. Sheronda Green to give very informative updates on “The Impact of Blue Oval City” in the Area. Lunch was provided by Hatchie Church of Christ.

December 12, 2023--The Dickson Co RTA held their annual Christmas luncheon at Colton's Steakhouse in Dickson on Tuesday, December 12. President Patricia Hudson called the meeting to order and led the Pledge to the Flag. Carol Moore read the devotion and led prayer. The members enjoyed a wonderful lunch.
Representatives from the Dixon Adult Center were the invited guests. The DCRTA members collected items and gifts and provided 40 Christmas packages for the Senior Center.
TRTA Executive Director Dr. Williams provided a state update. Debra Horsley read the minutes from the previous minutes. Lisa Fred's read the treasurers' report. $129.00 was collected at the last meeting in the "Sunshine Basket" (for scholarships).
Cornerstone Financial had made a donation to cover the cost of the luncheon. Door prizes were awarded and the meeting was adjourned.

September 12, 2023--The Dickson County RTA met on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Colton's Steak House. Guests were Christy Southerland from the Board of Education Office, Lt. Jessica Blackwell, and Sgt. Eric Chandler of the Dickson Police Department.
Mrs. Southerland shared some part time job opportunities available for retired teachers to tutor at risk students. Lt. Blackwell and Sgt. Chandler shared some reports of scams targeting the elderly that had been reported to their office recently.
Each DCRTA member attending brought small toys, books, and puzzles and these were presented to Lt. Blackwell and Sgt. Chandler to be used to help calm children that they encounter when answering calls to crisis situations.
